From the 11th to the 13th of July 2008, Apostles Daniel and Estela Dardanoministered doing the Lord’s work in the port of Veracruz.  The activities took place in the Hotel Angeles Suites of Colony Ricardo Flores Magón, Veracruz, México. With the slogan VERACRUZ SHINES, the objective was to share by the Spirit all that leads to the perfecting of the saints, reaffirming the work that was begun in September of 2001 which was the year that a remarkable spiritual event was chronicled as a milestone in the history of the Americas.

On April 22nd, 1519 the conquistador Hernán Cortes set ashore on San Juan de Ulua with the intention of possessing the land and establishing Spanish rule.  The date of his coming ashore coincided with the Friday of Holy Week.  One of Cortes’ objectives was to establish a village that would bear the name Villa Rica Vera-Cruz (Rich Village Vera-Cruz).  His zeal led him to the taking over not only of territories but of minds and the human will.  The objective of the conquest was achieved in 1521 and from that moment on   spiritual blindness, oppression and slavery of the soul came crashing down on Mexico into an abhorrent idolatry and various rituals of the occult.

In spite of the circumstances that the people found themselves in, God had set up a time of liberation for Mexico; a liberation that would extend throughout Latin America. 
In September of the year 2001, the prophet Daniel Cipolla received a word from the Lord concerning the liberation of Mexico in the very place that had been conquered: the Gulf of Veracruz.  It was important to go the Lord in prayer and ask for
a strategy in order to achieve this undertaking.  Right away, the members of the ministerial team of Generación en Conquista and a group of intercessors from Mexico D.F. and Veracruz, committed themselves to prayer and waiting on the plan of
the Lord. 
When the strategy was received and the plan took shape, it materialized taking place on the 18th and 19th of February of 2002.  The group made up of members of the apostolic-prophetic Ministry Generacion en Conquista, pastors and their wives who are under the authority of the Ministry, and several intercessors, met in the city of Veracruz with the objective of carrying out “the taking and spiritual reconquista of Mexico starting from the Gulf of Veracruz.

Several prophetic acts and declarations occurred within the waters of the Gulf of Mexico, on the beach, and in three specific places of the city.  These places represented the three areas that make up a human being:  the spirit, soul, and body.  The motive for visiting these places and making declarations from the Lord was to cancel out the evil and slavery of the past fostering a spiritual freedom of the people by the liberating power of the Spirit.
One of the acts of great spiritual significance was when Hernán Cipolla, representing Hernán Cortés and the Spanish conquistadors, asked Leticia (his wife) for forgiveness who at that time represented the Mexican nation, for the abuse and neglect that the conquest had brought upon it.   Forgiveness was granted and the exchange of rings symbolized the seal of a covenant of holiness and freedom. 

The events as a whole, known as “the taking of the gulf” was recorded as a historical landmark of what the Lord had spoken and was carrying out in those moments.  All the participants went out into the ocean in seven different boats; each one throwing a stone in the water with a scripture verse written on one side and on the other side read:  TODAY, THE SPIRITUAL DOORS WILL BE OPENED IN THE CONQUEST OF MEXICO
AND LATIN AMERICA FOR JESUS CHRIST.

Since 2002, the year in which the spiritual liberation was confirmed beginning in the Gulf of Veracruz for all of Latin America, there was incessant prayer to the Lord so that the port of Veracruz in the city of Veracruz would begin to be a powerful witness for Jesus Christ and the Gospel.  The years went by until the time had come that the members of the Ministry received a word from the Lord that it was the precise moment to work on an evangelical outreach strategy in this city.  In the year 2007, this task was handed over to Julio and Amparo Cabrera, pastors of the Iglesia Generación en Conquista Poza Rica who formed a group to evangelize and proclaim the powerful message of the Gospel of the Kingdom. 

Time went by and the seed that was sown bore fruit.  On the 17th of February 2008, the first meeting was held with approximately 40 people in attendance.  The leaders of the ministry are brother and sisters Antonio and Juanita Vazquez and Lorena Peralta, who are members of the church Generación en Conquista Poza Rica and are under the supervision of the Pastors Julio and Amparo Cabrera.  Throughout the following months, the group had become more united receiving different teachings of the Word, which led them to grow in grace and knowledge of the Lord Jesus Christ.

Daniel and Estela Dardano traveled to Veracruz to get to know the group of brothers and sisters and to share by the leading of the Spirit everything that involves the perfecting of the saints.  This visit took place between the 11th and the 13th of July.  With the slogan VERACRUZ SHINES, every night those in attendance in the banquet hall of the Hotel Angeles, received a teaching of the Word and the Spirit.  The power of God was palpable in many different forms, from physical to emotional healings, to a deep spiritual brokenness with the objective that lives would be lined up according to God’s order.  Each night the attendance would increase in number and on the last night the meeting place was at full capacity.  It’s worthy to point out that there were brothers and sisters visiting from other congregations as well as pastors from the area.  There were moments of great joy for the Christians that gathered together as they watched a total of 20 people give their lives to Christ in those three nights. 

One could see that the spiritual doors had been opened and that all the work that took place in 2002 is now producing its long awaited results. The ministry continues to grow and VERACRUZ SHINES for the honor of the Lord.
